Brabant Bears debut win against Dolphins

Brabant Bears got their season of to a perfect start with a dominant performance against the Hardewijk Dolphins. A lot of new players wrote themselves in the history books today with their first league match. Nate scoring the first ever try for the Brabant Bears had a great overall performance and with two tries is the 100 Watt Man of the Match. Honorable mention goes to league debutant Jonas making great breaks and crunching tackles.

As the brabant bears tradition dictates everyone scoring their first Bears try celebrates by giving a jug of bear to their mates, the third half was also a dominant performance by the bears. Tries scored today by Nate (2×), Kees (2×), Jasper, Hamish, Tomas and Jonas. In a great team performance with clinical play, one person dropped one ball which ended Dirk up with the questionable honor of being the first Yogi of the Brabant Bears. Next week the Brabant Bears host the Den Haag knights for their first home game at the Oysters rugby club.
